Secondary School Procedures

* Grades 6 - 8 eat lunch in the cafeteria at 12:50

* Grades 9 - 12 eat lunch in the Waves Sports Hall at 12:50

Meals

Hot meals purchased by Secondary School students cost 5,45 €.

For this price, your child can choose one of three main meal components that will be either meat or vegetarian. In addition to the main component, they will receive a choice of side dishes and either a pre prepared side salad or desert.

Secondary students pay for lunches with their ID cards. These can be loaded either online or using the cash loader in the Waves Foyer. Please see below for information explaining how to load money onto your child’s ID card online. Cards can no longer be loaded at the tills in the cafeteria.

Kiosk

The kiosk in the Waves cafeteria is open for Secondary students every morning from 08:00 – 08:20 and at morning break from 10:30 – 10:55. Individually priced snack items such as sandwiches, fruit cups, pastries and drinks are available there to.

Please note that the kiosk will no longer be open at lunchtime as this area ill be used as a second serving area for hot meals. There is a vending machine in the Agora foyer where students can purchase snacks and drinks throughout the day.

Payment

Secondary students pay for their meals and kiosk options with their school ID cards.

  • These cards may be loaded with money online or using the cash loader in the Waves Foyer. 
  • Parents are able to view online all purchases their children have made using their ID cards. 

**Parents who wish to load money to their child's ID card via the online service can login to the CashControl portal using the same email address as for our website Community Login. 
You may need to reset your password to something you can identify with. You may wish to follow the steps in Parents Guide to Loading Cafeteria ID Cards and Reviewing Purchases, it outlines the procedure in visual steps.
