Bonn International School is located on a beautiful, green campus at the southern tip of Bonn`s largest recreational park, on the banks of the Rhine River. To the west of our school is the American Compound, a historic housing complex, to the south and east of our campus is the leafy suburb of Bad Godesberg-Plittersdorf. The setting brings to life the rich natural and cultural traditions of Germany and wider Europe.
Our campus consists of three buildings: Waves (opened in 2006), Agora (opened in 2012) and Crest (opened in 2017) surrounded by significant outdoor play, sport and recreational spaces. Our buildings feature generous, light-filled classrooms, well-resourced laboratories, competitive sports facilities and an extensive IT infrastructure with high-speed wireless access for teachers, students and visitors. To get a closer look at our campus, take a look at our campus tour.
Here you can view our school on a map or find directions to visit us. BIS is easily reached by public transportation. The 610 and 611 buses stop only a few minutes walk from our school entrance and connect with both the Bonn and Bad Godesberg main stations; both stations are hubs for regional and local trains, trams and buses. Tram stops are about 10 - 15 minutes from school.
