  • Bonn International School

Thanks to the efforts of Student Council, Bonn International School introduced a new house system 2 years ago during the 2009-2010 year.

Upon entering BIS, each student joins one of four houses (red, yellow, green or blue) which provides this student with the chance to express and experience school and team spirit as they are lived out at BIS. Points are gained for each house through quiz events as well as inter-house competitions in the arts, sports and academics and through the Positive Comment system set up to encourage positive behaviour in the Secondary School. Each house is led by Grade 11 and 12 students and this provides opportunities for real responsibility and leadership for organizing and promoting activities.
