Applying for a Position

If you are interested in applying for a position at Bonn International School, please submit a letter of interest, a CV/resume and a list of three to five referees (one of whom should be a current line manager/principal). These documents should be collated into one pdf document and forwarded to recruiting@bonn-is.de.

Employment

Teaching posts at Bonn Interntional School are generally for a minimum of two years and require a recognised teacher's qualification. Fluent proficiency in the English language is also mandatory. At least 2 years experience (depending on the level of the job) is desirable as is experience with International Baccalaureate Programmes. A strong commitment to the school's mission, philosophy and beliefs supported by the International Baccalaureate curricula is essential. Experience of working in an international school would be an advantage, but is not essential. The ability to communicate well and adjust easily in a new environment is helpful.

At this time, BIS has two vacancies for the 2011-2012 school year:

  • IB Primary Years Programme Coordinator

For the 2012-2013 school year, BIS has the following vacancies:

If you are interested, please send a letter of application and your current CV together with a copy of your work permit (if necessary) and a copy of your teaching qualifications.

All applicants should send their documentation to recruiting(at)bonn-is.de
