Hänsel & Gretel Readers' Choice Award 2017

Congratulations  to the 2017 Winner:
Jinx by Sage Blackwood!

The Hänsel & Gretel Readers’ Choice Award was established to give students in Grades 3-6 in international schools in Germany a voice in the literary community. It is their opportunity to nominate and vote for their favourite books. Every year 16 book nominees compete against each other in a series of rounds of voting - ending in a head-to-head battle between two books!  The winner is declared in February. For more behind-the-scenes information, visit the award’s official website here.

Voting Eligibility:  Students must read 4 books in order to be eligible to vote. Grades 3-5 students will vote during library classes.  Grade 6 students please vote personally with a librarian.
