Teaching posts at Bonn Interntional School are generally for a minimum of two years and require a recognised teacher's qualification. At least 2 years experience (depending on the level of job) is desirable. Experience of working in an international school would be an advantage, but is not essential. A strong commitment to the school's mission, philosophy and beliefs supported by the International Baccalaureate curricula is essential. An ability to communicate well and adjust easily in a new environment is helpful. Fluent proficiency in the English language is required.
We are always looking to recruit teachers who live locally to work as substitutes to cover for teacher absences. Substitute teachers must have a recognised teaching qualification.
We are currently looking for a part-time French teacher for the 2010-2011 school year. Details are attached below.
Applicants should be qualified teachers and ideally have recent teaching experience in these fields. Experience with the International Baccalaureate Programmes is desirable.
If you wish to apply, please complete the BIS application form, send a one page statement of educational philosophy, a letter of application indicating your suitability for the post and the contact details of three current referees to the Human Resources Manager at uwe.doenges(at)bonn-is.de.
