Thanks to the efforts of Student Council, Bonn International School introduced a new house system during the 2009-2010 year. Upon entering the school, each student joins one of four houses (red, yellow, green or blue) which provides this student the chance to express and experience school and team spirit as they are lived out at BIS. Points are gained for each house through quiz events as well as inter-house competitions in the arts, sports and academics. Each house is led by Grade 11 and 12 students which provides opportunities for real responsibility and leadership for organizing and promoting activities.
