Secondary English Teacher
Teaching posts at Bonn International School are generally for a minimum of two years and require a recognised teacher’s qualification. Fluent proficiency in the English language is mandatory. At least two years experience (depending on the level of the job) is desirable, as is experience with International Baccalaureate Programmes. A strong commitment to the school’s mission, philosophy and beliefs supported by the International Baccalaureate curricula is essential. Experience of working in an international school would be an advantage, as is the ability to communicate well and adjust easily to a new environment.

Internships at BIS
Bonn International School offers a limited number of places for university students to do internships during the school year.
Suitable candidates should (amongst other qualifications):
- be in the process of studying to become primary or secondary school teachers
- be available for at least 4 weeks
- ideally have some teaching experience or similar work experience in the field of curricular/extracurricular education
- live in the Bonn/Cologne area
Priority is given to people who are native language speakers and/or who have an international background.
